Christmas Morning...I wake up to my sister on top of my saying "Merry Christmas Amber". I get out of bed walk into the living room and find there is no power and in the last couple hours it has dumped about 2 feet of snow... and it is continuing to snow. Talk about white Christmas. After opening presents we hung out and watched the snow fall. 2 o'clock rolls around and there is still no power. So we do what we do best...improvise. Since there is no hot water to shower we heat up a pot of water on the wood stove...as soon as it starts boiling...its go time. Leaning over the sink we wash our hair. Which was hilarious! After we were all washed up we started to get ready to go to my grandma's house. Which is where we spend Christmas every year. Just then the power comes back on...typical. So we finish getting all of our stuff and head over.
We are greeted with lots of family. We ate a lot of food (my grandma happens to be an amazing cook)...opened presents...and you always know when the Wells' are back in town because...well...we like to make a lot of noise. One of our traditions of course is fireworks. So we go out on the back deck of my grandma's house and start them off. We've got everything from bottle rickets to the big ones with various names that last for a good couple minutes. Watching my dad and his brothers play with fire and things that explode is probably one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen.

The remains of our fun...:)
After we hung out and ate dessert and had good family time. We came home to more snow then when we left and this time we had power. A great day full of adventure and fun.
