The title of my blog is 'life is a journey'. Which is true. Life is the complex pathway of decisions and choices and happenings that you sometimes do and sometimes dont have control over.
In the past three years of my life my journey has been sometimes cloudy and sometimes clear skies. God has been changing and growing me. There have been moments of questioning and moments of doubt. There have been those moments when I feel like there is lightbulb above my head and I get it. Then two weeks later the light has gone dark and I'm lost again.
There have also been incredibly wonderful blessings and joys along the way. God providing the right people at the right time to pour into me. God building beautiful, life-giving friendships. And I can tell you that those moments are what got me through some of the other ones.
Life is this beautiful journey, with all its pieces strewn about. And I love it (most days).
Today I got a Resident Director position at Geneva College in Pennsylvania. I can't even begin to explain the amount of emotions that are going on inside of me, but I can tell you that this is the grandest blessing that I have ever received. God and I have been working together, really just him working, for a while now to figure out where this life of mine is going. I've tried my best to trust in his faithfulness and right now I feel like I'm doing a prrreeeetty good job. :)
I am beyond ecstatic for this opportunity and for the new journey God is taking me on. Nervous? yes. But I know God is faithful. And it's not like it's across the country or anything. So thats good. :)
