Thanksgiving Dinner

So a downside to this upcoming holiday season is that as an RA I have to be on duty the Friday after Thanksgiving...which I did volunteer for so that I could have spring break off...but still is a little bit of a bummer that I don't get to go home and play in the snow and rest with my family.  And that there will be no Thanksgiving dinner made by my gram.  You see she is the best at it and no matter how crazy the kitchen gets on the holiday's she always pulls it off and it is always delicious!  But my taste buds will have to wait until Christmas for that little gift.  But in the midst of the situation I am not the only one here for this holiday of thanks...and in aspiration of all the great cooking my grandmother has done this Thanksgiving will be the first in the books where I cook the meal. That's right you read it...I will be cooking dinner this coming Thursday, with the help of some wonderful friends.  I've been looking at recipes and making notes and tomorrow I will go shopping for the Turkey...and in the process of shopping I will call my grandma to ask her professional opinion and how to cook this crazy bird.

I will document this process and share it with you when the time comes. Hopefully I don't burn the house.
