ingredients here I come.

This is kinda like day one on the race of Thanksgiving.  Today me and Rachel got together finalized all of our cooking plans.  We made lists, divided up who is making what, planned out the time and wheat needs to be cooked where, and in an hour or so we are off to buy all the necessary ingredients to make our holiday feast.

I just can't really explain the excitement the is being bottled up inside me, waiting to burst all over Thanksgiving!  I have this image in my head of waking up early and making blueberry pancakes for breakfast while Chase and Aaron sit and watch football while Rachel and I continue to ask for the parade.  Then as soon as my Turkey goes in the oven we begin the wonderful process of cooking and baking all day with wonderful smells of pumpkin, casseroles, and everything else yummy.  Then when the meal is finished we sit around a little table with all of the people that have wondered by that day looking for a meal and we all eat together.  As one big family being so thankful for everything we've been blessed with.  I know this is a little unrealistic and if my life is anything like Friends I will end up with a burnt turkey and nothing else to eat.  But either way tomorrow turns out, I will be with wonderful company with so many things to be thankful for.

So let the baking begin...Ralph's...here I come.
