where the internet is slow and the trees are abundant

I've been home for the last few days.  Doing a multitude of fun things while every night I enjoy the quietness of my own real bed where I dont think I will ever wake up.  It has been wonderful seeing old summer friends and adventuring in the wilderness with them.  Going to the river with my parents and swimming in freezeing cold water.  Going for a run around the lake and when i'm done its dark and dinner is waiting for me.  Spending time with my dad who has more quirks and funny things about him then anyone I know.  Spending time with my grandparents who are the best and every time I see them they shower me with love.  And having the best Chineese food in America.  All that to say my bags are packed, I'm ready to go.  Southern California, a life of busy, fun, exciting, challenging, smog and millions of opportunity are waiting for me.  Tomorrow my worlds of peaceful serenity and fun busyness will collide and my summer will be over.  On one hand I couldn't be more thrilled to begin this new adventure and on the other I wish I could just stay in the mountians and get lost in my thoughts.
