Yesterday ended on a fairly positive note compared to the beginning of the day. Sarah, my cousin, (pictures soon) walked around Zurich...while the World Cup game was going on...best decision ever. Crowded streets with Swiss fans...all dressed in red and white...and going crazy! It was the best...then on our way back to our hostel we got a serenaded by a quartet of singers on the street...which was also a fairly positive experience.
Slept like a rock.
Woke up early this morning and took a short walk to our tour and then traveled around Swizerland...with a dry/sarcastic tour guide...Kati...i thought of you the whole time. You would've loved it. We took a bus to Rappeswill, the city of roses. We walked around and while the wind and cloudy weather were not a favorite, there was so many beautiful things to look at I dont think any of us paid any attention to the weather. The buildings in Switzerland are so wonderful and I hear they will only get better as the trip continues. Then we hopped on a boat and road our way back to Zurich on the Lake on Zurich (cleaver) while we all napped on the benches. Tonight we went to The Coop, grocery store, and bught our dinner and sat on the rooftop and ate and laughed together. As we finnished the thunder came in and the lightening in the distance caused us to move inside...maybe i'll explore that later.
As for tomorrow we are off to Haslach which is the highlight of our trip...the next week or so is filled with family BBQs, planned hikes, bycicles, and meeting lots of family! Cant wait!!

I am sincerely jealous and kind of sad that I am not there with you. I love you lots, and cant wait to have adventures like this with you. Have so much fun, and make sure to take walks by yourself too! Get lost! (well, I guess you already did that huh?)
