frisbees

Yesterday we went to the beach...it was cloudy...Here's what happened. 

Sitting on a towel writing my dear friend Kelly a letter while the girls are bundled up and the wind is blowing everywhere!  Suddenly I hear..."Heads up!"  To which I look up and two seconds later a frisbee hits me right in the forehead and makes such a loud sound that everyone perks up to see if I'm alright.  My eyes are watering but not crying because it was such a weird and funny circumstance that there was only room for laughing.  So after a couple laughs every goes back to what they were doing and about a minute later I reach up to feel my throbbing head and feel a little bit of a bump...So i look up and ask "Do I have a bump?"  To which the response is covered mouths and laughter and a lot of oh my gosh's...Apaprently there was a golf ball slowly growing out of my head.  Perfect.  The day continued and my new golf ball got more attention from strangers then I ever have.
