The other day my mom called me and asked if I wanted to do a half marathon with her...um yes please! I love doing things and being outside and would jump at the chance to do a half marathon with my mom. I got to thinking and this was my conclusion, I have the best mom. I know everyone says that, but I just dont know that they're right. It's weird that when you live at home you take your parents for granted but when you move away, suddenly it feels the most peaceful and relaxing to go home and be with your parents again. My mom is so encouraging and seems to be the one person who can bring me back down to earth when I am full of ideas and uncertainty. She is willing to do anything for me at the drop of a hat and always wants to invest in my life. It is amazing how much she cares and I just dont know if I can ever be that intentional with people that I love. She's just the best.
