The beautiful thing about snow is that it comes in all different forms. Fast, slow, a lot, a little, slushy, icy. But tonight was the most magical kind. The kind where all you want to do is stand in it and let it hit you on the face while you try to follow the flakes falling from the sky. It's the kind that when you're driving it flows right over the top of your car and doesn't stop to melt on your wind shield. It's the kind that you get mezmorized by. The kind that as it's falling you wonder if God is just sprnkling glitter all over because it sparkles and shimmers like nothing you've ever seen before. It's the kind of snow that keeps you standing outside just a little bit longer to see each unique and different flake, even if its freezing cold.
This is my favorite kind of snow. And it doesn't come as often as you think. And not every time is it the perfect moment of peace and tiredness and love and warmth for you to fully appreciate the beauty of it. The best part of this kind of snow... when you wake up in the morning...your whole world has been transformed into a glittery white breath taking wonderland. And you enjoy it for as long as you can until the sun comes and you are left waiting for the next magical snowy night.
